9/11/2001. By the Numbers. 2,819 people gone forever. For every one woman lost, three men will never be seen again. Twenty people made it out of the rubble after the collapse of the towers. 1,717 families will never be sure if their love ones died that day; as their remains have never been found. Ten years ago today, 3,051 children lost one (or both) of their parents.
These are the facts, but life is never that simple.
